Laura Bączkiewicz is 11 years old and hails from the town of Konin, located in central Poland.
Laura has been singing since she was four years old. Currently, she is a student at the Hit Stage Song Studio. She also has leant her voice to several animated films and would like to be a singer and actress when she gets older. This year, Laura was one of the finalists in the 'The Voice Kids'.
The entry: 'To The Moon'
Poland used the show 'Szansa Na Sukces - Eurowizja Junior' to select the Polish entrant this year, which is the same show used for the 2021 Contest. There were three semi-finals. Laura was chosen from the first semi-final with a golden ticket. A Final was then held with four singers, and then a Super Final of two where Laura sung her song 'To The Moon'. The winner was chosen through both jury and public vote.
Comments from the Aussievision team
This is really good! The hook in the chorus “I think you’re ready now” is super catchy and its memorable. It is hard to believe Laura is only 11 years old – what a cutie! ‘To the Moon’ is another Junior Eurovision song that has that more mature edge to it. I also like the mix of both Polish and English, always a fan of that. I could imagine hearing this song on the radio. Catchy as heck! ~ Hayley
Poland know how to do Junior Eurovision! They have created another bop of a song with a great beat! The music video is slick. I can expect some great staging from Poland for the Contest in December. I expect this to be a dark horse and might do really well with the online poll. ~ Kyriakos

Poland at Junior Eurovision
Poland first competed at Junior Eurovision in 2003 and has entered on eight occasions.
Poland took an 11 year hiatus before returning in 2016. Over the last few years, Poland has been very successful at Junior Eurovision, winning in 2018 and 2019. Poland came close to winning last year, but just missed out and had to settle for second place.
Can Laura make it a lucky third time for Poland?
Junior Eurovision 2022 will be held in Yerevan on December 11, 2022 (December 12, 2022 in Australia).
