Jessica Mauboy releases new single 'Flashback'

Australia's Eurovision 2018 artist Jessica Mauboy has released her latest single, 'Flashback' off her upcoming album 'Yours Forever'.

Jessica announced the new single a week ago with a special message to her fans:

"SURPRISE! I am so incredibly excited to announce that my new single 'Flashback' will be yours next week, November 10 💖 This track is very special to me and is one of my favourite love songs! I wanted to capture the feeling of falling in love and all of the excitement that comes with it. The lump in your throat, the butterflies in your stomach, the giddy feeling... those images came to me and found their way into lyrics. I cannot wait for you to hear it!"

The song is co-written by Jessica together with James Gales, Nick Littlemore and Toby Anagnostis. Nick Littlemore is well known as the frontman of the electronic duo Pnau, and from the electro pop-project Empire of the Sun.

'Flashback' is the follow up single to Jessica's duet with fellow The Voice Australia coach Jason Derulo, 'Give You Love' which was released back in August this year.

In September it was announced that Jessica and Jason's duet 'Give You Love' was nominated for an ARIA award for "Best Video". Jessica has previously won two ARIA Music Awards from 25 nominations.

Jessica will be performing and presenting at this years ARIA Awards. You can catch the ARIA Awards live from 5.00pm AEDT on Wednesday November 15, on Stan and Channel 9.

Both 'Give You Love' and 'Flashback' are off Jessica's fifth studio album 'Yours Forever' out February 9, 2024.

'Yours Forever' is available for pre-order! You can order the physical CD album and black vinyl at JBHifi. Both come with a bonus signed card and pocket mirror. Alternatively the Warner Music Store is offering a coloured peach marble vinyl version of the album, with a competition to see Jessica live. The site also includes the newly released 'Yours Forever' merch, check it out!

Jessica has a huge year coming up with her 23 show 'Yours Forever' Tour in 2024. The Aussie pop star will be travelling to every state and territory and is also flying across the pond for a show in Auckland, New Zealand. The tour will take place from March to May 2024.

In other news Jessica will be performing as a special guest at Christina Aguilera's one-off Australian show in Melbourne which will take place at the Flemington Racecourse on November 25.
