Ireland and Serbia announce a return for Lesley Roy and Hurricane
Overnight two countries confirmed their 2020 Eurovision artists would return for the 2021 contest in Rotterdam.
After strong suggestions they would be back, Serbian broadcaster RTS confirmed overnight that Hurricane will once again definitely be representing Serbia in Rotterdam.
Although the full details have not been released, it has been confirmed that their song will be selected by RTS viewers at a later date.
After much speculation, RTE has confirmed that Lesley Roy will once again be the Irish representative in 2021.
The song has been chosen and will be revealed in the New Year. Alongside Lesley, one of the song’s producers was Lukas Hallgren, who produced Switzerland’s entry last year.
On the Eurovision.tv the Irish head of delegation Michael Kealy said that Lesley’s new song is "every bit as catchy as the last one” so we will have to wait and see if the rest of Europe agrees with him.
