Hungary awards Australia points in the INFE Poll for Eurovision 2026

The International Network of Fan Clubs of Eurovision (INFE) is an organisation that brings together fan clubs of Eurovision around the world.


It is a different network from OGAE Clubs, however share the similar ideals of uniting fans together in their love of Eurovision.


The INFE group run a song poll with ESCToday each year, much like the OGAE Song Poll, and the results for 2026 have started to be released.


Overnight Australia received its fourth set of points (after scoring points from Greece last week) in the INFE 2026 Eurovision poll, this time from Hungary!


Here are the results from INFE Hungary:


  • 12 points - Sweden

  • 10 points - Finland

  • 8 points - Denmark

  • 7 points - AUSTRALIA

  • 6 points - Albania

  • 5 points - Italy

  • 4 points - Luxembourg

  • 3 points - France

  • 2 points - Bulgaria

  • 1 points - Cyprus



Since its inception in 2017, the INFE poll has correctly predicted five out of eight Eurovision Song Contest winners including last year's winner JJ from Austria with Wasted Love.


This places Australia in 5th place overall after five nations have voted.


Here are the Top 10 as of 18 April 2026 are:


  1. Finland - 44 points

  2. Sweden - 33 points

  3. Denmark - 29 points

  4. Cyprus - 27 points

  5. AUSTRALIA - 27 points

  6. France - 24 points

  7. Greece - 20 points

  8. Romania - 18 points

  9. Albania - 12 points

  10. Italy - 12 points

It’s interesting to see how the INFE Poll is shaping up this year, especially with Hungary giving Australia 7 points, which helps keep them in a strong position overall.  The rankings already look quite competitive, with countries like Finland and Sweden leading early on, while others are steadily catching up as more votes come in.  What makes these early fan polls fun is that they often give a hint of potential trends before the main Eurovision event, even if things can still change a lot. While reading updates like this, I also came across Betride, which just shows how browsing online can sometimes lead you from music news to completely different topics without even expecting it.
