Australia’s Eurovision star Guy Sebastian has released his highly anticipated 10th studio album, 100 Times Around the Sun, and announced a 14-date national tour set for 2026.
The album has been four years in the making, with Sebastian recording tracks in a variety of international locations including writing camps in Bali, sessions in Nashville and Los Angeles, and his home studio in Sydney. The result is a deeply personal and eclectic collection that reflects both his global experiences and grounded Australian roots.
Sebastian has already released seven singles from the album, including chart-toppers Maybe and No Reason to Stay, both of which hit No.1 on the ARIA Digital Track Chart. His duet Antidote with Sam Fischer reached No.2, while I Chose Good peaked at No.4.
Eurovision fans will notice some familiar names behind the scenes. Afterlife was co-written with Dutch-born Australian producer Louis Schoorl, who previously collaborated on Sebastian’s Eurovision 2015 entry Tonight Again. Schoorl also co-wrote Can We Make Heaven for Diana Rouvas (2020) and Little Fires for Jaguar Jonze (2022), both of which featured in Eurovision – Australia Decides.
Another Eurovision – Australia Decides song writer, Roberto De Sá, teamed up with Sebastian and Ned Houston to co-write Maybe. De Sá is known for co-writing This Is Not The End for Mark Vincent (2019) and Together for Mitch Tambo (2020).
The latest single from the album, Strangers, will be accompanied by a music video set to premiere on August 11.
In an interview with The Music, Sebastian opened up about the album’s emotional direction and initial working title:
“I originally wanted to call the album Feels And Feels Good. Because I thought, there's not many in-betweens… The Keys and Strangers are my two favourite ballads- so it either hits you in the feels or it's kind of got a feel-good vibe to it. And so I think that's what I wanted people to feel.”
“You know, I didn't want to get super preachy about philosophy or life or my lessons I've learned in the last five years. I wanted to get back to just enjoying life and talking about the importance of just having your crew, having that inner circle that you want to do 100 times around the sun with. And that's what the album is about. It's really just about that circle.”
To support the release, Sebastian has announced a nationwide tour for 2026, covering major cities including his hometown of Adelaide. However, the timing of the tour, which extends into May, effectively rules out the possibility of Sebastian representing Australia at Eurovision 2026, should Australia be confirmed to participate.
