'Eurovision - Australia Decides 2020' artist, Australia's Got Talent finalist and rising First Nations artist Mitch Tambo has released a new song, 'Heal'.

It is the second single of the year for Mitch after 'Dreamtime Princess' was released in May this year.

'Heal' is written by Bernadette Duncan (who co-wrote previous Mitch Tambo single 'LOVE'), Rhys Tolhurst and co-written by Mitch Tambo. It is produced by Rob Amoruso who also produced 'Dreamtime Princess'.

The song is very close to the singers heart. Mitch was 22 years old when his father was diagnosed with cancer. He used the songwriting process during 'Heal' to help deal with his grief after losing his father to cancer in 2012.

In an interview with the Daily Mail the Melbourne based singer revealed that 'Heal' is about "overcoming the storms in life" and he hopes people will connect with the song and help them through the current struggles with the COVID-19 pandemic.

"It's a single that means a lot to me and is almost this song that's allowed me to strip it back, it really comes from the heart, it's an outpour. 'I'm blessed to put music out in a time where people are losing jobs, careers and business. I feel like my artistry is moving forward and it's a massive blessing.'"

At 'Eurovision - Australia Decides 2020' Mitch Tambo entered 'Together', an inspirational track sung both in English and Gamilaraay language, the language of his people. His performance had a soaring chorus, together with drums and didgeridoo with lyrics to unite everyone. He ended up finishing in 5th place.

The AGT 2019 finalist is also know for his rendition of 'You're the Voice' by John Farnham which he performed during his time on Australia's Got Talent and later released as a single. Recently Eurovision 2012 winner Loreen sung her own rendition of 'You're the Voice' on Swedish television for a show to draw awareness to climate change.

'Heal' is now available on iTunes and streaming on Spotify and Apple Music.
