Overnight, Australia’s Eurovision 2026 artist Delta Goodrem performed at the Australian Embassy Eurovision Celebration held at the Lorely-Saal in Vienna.
The event was hosted by the Australian Embassy and Permanent Mission to the United Nations, Vienna together with Australian broadcaster SBS.
Among those in attendance were this year’s Australian Eurovision commentator Courtney Act and special guest commentator Danny Estrin from Voyager, who hosted the event.

Also present were Australia’s Eurovision Head of Delegation Emily Griggs from SBS, Australia’s Eurovision 2025 representative Go-Jo, members of the Australian delegation and Eurovision fans.
Several Eurovision 2026 artists also attended the celebration, including Aidan from Malta, Dara from Bulgaria, Daniel Zizka from Czechia and Eva Marija from Luxembourg.
A few members of the Aussievision team were also on the ground in Vienna, ready to bring daily coverage of this year’s contest.
Australia’s Eurovision Head of Delegation, Emily Griggs, spoke during the event and highlighted the significance Austria has had in Australia’s Eurovision journey:
“Austria has played a very special role in Australia’s Eurovision story. They first invited us to the Contest for the 60th anniversary, and honestly we wouldn’t be standing on this stage without that invite. So it feels very special to be back here to celebrate 70 years [of the Eurovision Song Contest] this year.”
Delta performed several songs throughout the evening, including her classic hit Lost Without You and her Eurovision 2026 entry Eclipse.
In an interview with Aussievision, Delta also shared a heartfelt message for her fans back in Australia:
"I love you all so much. I feel your love. I can feel it all the way in Vienna."
