Eurovision 2025: Emmy reveals she has Australian family ties

In an interview with Aussievision, Emmy has revealed she has family ties to Australia.

The Norwegian singer is performing for Ireland at Eurovision with the song Laika Party about a Soviet space dog.

When we asked if she had connections to Australia or had visited here, she surprised us with her answer.

"My uncle is Australian," she said.

"My cousin is half Australian and she is in Australia right now!"

She also revealed the Australian animal gifts she gets each Christmas and where in the country her family is from.

In our chat, she also shared her thoughts on Samantha Mumba in Eurosong, her staging plans for Basel, and what she thinks of Australia's Eurovision entry Milkshake Man.
