We profile the 2025 entry from Armenia, including details on the artist, song, how it was chosen, odds, fan reaction, and how the nation has fared at Eurovision.
Armenia made its Eurovision debut in 2006 with André's Without Your Love. It has appeared in the contest 16 times and reached the Grand Final on 13 occasions.
In its first five appearances Armenia consistently finished in the top 10, including a fourth place in 2008 by Sirusho with Qélé, Qélé. This is Armenia's best result at Eurovision, which was repeated in 2014 by Aram Mp3 with Not Alone.
The Caucasian country is currently on a three contest qualification streak which began in 2022 courtesy of Rosa Linn's Snap, with the song unexpectedly becoming a global hit. Last year Armenia, represented by Ladaniva with Jako, finished 8th.
This year Armenia will be represented by Parg. You can find out more about him and his entry below.

Parg released his debut single Ginin u grely in 2021, and the following year he moved back to Armenia.
In 2024 his song Araj was nominated for an Armenian Music Video Award. That same year he was married to Nana Vardanyan.
The Eurovision website states Parg's music "is deeply rooted in Armenian culture, yet forward-thinking and innovative, positioning him as a trailblazer in modern Armenian pop music."
About the song
Like its title suggests Survivor is a song about overcoming adversity and hardship. Its genre is rock.
The song was written by Parg along with eight others, including Peter Boström and Thomas G:son. The latter two composed Loreen's Eurovision 2012 winning entry Euphoria.
How Parg was chosen for Eurovision?
Parg competed in Armenia's Eurovision national selection Depi Evratesil on Febrary 16 as one of the twelve finalists. The contest was held at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex in Yerevan, which has previously hosted Junior Eurovision in 2011 and 2022. Aram Mp3 and Ani Khachikyan were the hosts of the show.
The Depi Evratesil line-up this year also included Athena Manoukian, who was due to represent Armenia at Eurovision 2020, and Anahit Adamyan, who represented Armenia at Junior Eurovision in 2016 and finished runners-up.
The results of Depi Evratesil was decided a third by an international jury, a third by an Armenian jury, and a third by Armenian televote. Parg topped the televote and came second in both sets of jury votes.
This was enough for Parg to beat runners-up Simon 214 to 197 points. Athena Manoukian rounded the top three.
Armenia will compete in the second Semi-Final of the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest on 15 May 2025 in Basel.
