Eurovision 2023 logo and slogan revealed ahead of allocation draw

Overnight, Eurovision revealed the logo and slogan for the 2023 Contest.


In social media posts, the official Eurovision account shared the details via a photo from the host city Liverpool.


The slogan is "United By Music" accompanied by a series of coloured hearts.


The appearance in Liverpool is ahead of the semi-final allocation draw which takes place 31 January in Europe and February 1 here in Australia at 6:00am AEDT.




Ahead of the draw, the allocation pots were also revealed with Australia placed with mainly Scandinavian nations.


Half the nations will be placed in one semi-final and the other half in the other semi-final.


The allocation pots are determined on previous voting history and are used to avoid so-called neighbourly voting.
