Eurovision 2022 song 'Snap' enters Australia's ARIA chart

Armenia's Eurovision 2022 entry 'Snap' has entered the ARIA Top 50 chart in Australia.

The Rosa Linn song rose from no.64 to no.23 and is the highest debut entry on this week's chart.

Despite finishing 20th in the Grand Final at Eurovision in Turin, the song has gone on to be one of the Contest's biggest success stories.

The song went viral on TikTok and has charted in the Top 10 on many official charts in Europe as well no.26 in the United Kingdom.

It has also charted across the board on Spotify worldwide.

This is the first time a Eurovision song has made the ARIA Top 50 since 'We Got Love' reached no.31 in 2018.

Maneskin went on to success after Eurovision in 2021, reaching no.3 on the ARIA chart but with the song 'Beggin' rather than their Contest winning song.

Can 'Snap' continue to rise higher? We'll see where it gets on next week's chart.
