Eurovision 2022: Semi-final allocation draw results



Tonight the Eurovision 2022 semi-final allocation draw took place at the Palazzo Madama e Casaforte degli Acaja (Madama Palace) in Turin, Italy.


The draw was hosted by television presenters Carolina di Domenico and Gabriele Corsi and saw 18 nations places in each semi-final.


Australia will be compete in semi-final 2 in the first half of the show.

The draw was conducted using six pots based based on historical voting patterns as calculated by Eurovision’s official televoting partner Digame.


Countries are placed in these pots to help reduce the chance of neighbour or "bloc" voting.

The Eurovision Song Contest will take place on the 10, 12 and 14 May in Turin Italy.
