Current Top 20 Eurovision songs on TikTok



TikTok has become the latest popular online platform for content creators to go viral on, with its dance challenges and short videos making an impact on pop culture and the music charts.


Today we take a look at the current top 20 Eurovision songs on the online platform based on combined videos the songs are featured in.

TikTok has seen many Eurovision songs gain popularity with people outside of the Eurovision bubble.


Over the last year the Eurovision 2019 winning song, 'Arcade' by Duncan Laurence has seen a resurgence and appearance on the music charts around the world. The songs success can be attributed to its appearance on TikTok stemmed from Harry Potter fans who were making videos using cut scenes from the Harry Potter films to show case the good in Draco Malfoy's character.


Last years Contest may have been cancelled but one of the favourites to take it out Eurovision 2020, Daði og Gagnamagnið, went viral with their song 'Think About Things'. It garnered ten's of thousands of views and even appeared on the UK Official Singles Chart peaking at No. 34.


After this year's Contest, Eurovision winners Måneskin have seen a huge surge in popularity. Their 2017 cover of The Four Seasons' 1967 track ‘Beggin'' went viral on TikTok, as of July 9 2021 amassing over 4.4 million videos. The success of ‘Beggin’’ on TikTok has translated to a huge surge in streams on Spotify, which you can check out here.


Måneskin's Eurovision winning song ‘Zitti e buoni’ is their third most popular song on TikTok, check out their top 10 song on TikTok here.

It comes as no surprise that Duncan Laurence's 'Arcade' is currently the most popular Eurovision song on TikTok. The 705.4K videos the song has featured is only with Duncan Laurence's solo version. His duet of 'Arcade' with FLETCHER has amassed 858.1K videos on TikTok. Both Duncan's solo version and his duet with FLETCHER has a total of 1.56 million videos on TikTok.


This has led to 'Arcade' hitting the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song is still charting having peaked at No. 61.

A surprise is the appearance of Switzerland's 2017 entry 'Apollo' by Timebelle. The song failed to qualify to the grand final finishing in 12th place in semi final 2, but four years on the song has still remains relevant and popular.

The oldest Eurovision song to make the top 20 is Alexander Rybak's 'Fairytale', after 12 years the Eurovision winning song still resonates ranking in 10th place.

Current Eurovision winners Måneskin's song 'Zitti e buoni' comes in 4th place in out list. It is currently the most popular Eurovision song from 202. With their popularity increasing right now will they manage to jump higher? We will have to wait and see.
