Courtney Act joins SBS's Eurovision 2024 team for Malmö



This morning, SBS announced that Courtney Act would join Joel Creasey and Myf Warhurst for their Eurovision 2024 coverage.


Courtney will be joining as a backstage correspondent bringing all the behind-the-scenes action.


Joel and Myf are on commentary duties again, this will be their seventh Eurovision since joining in 2017.



Courtney Act is a global star thanks to her runner-up finish on RuPaul's Drag Race and winning Celebrity Big Brother UK.


She rose to fame through Australian Idol in the 2000s and also attempted to represent Australia at Eurovision 2019.


She competed in 'Eurovision - Australia Decides' finishing fourth behind Kate Miller-Heidke with her song 'Fight for Love.'



Courtney also presented the votes for Australia at the 2022 Contest.


Australia will be represented by Electric Fields and their song 'One Milkali (One Blood)'.



The 68th Eurovision Song Contest is held from Tuesday 7 May - Saturday 11 May (CEST) 2024 in Malmö, Sweden, and will broadcast in Australia at the dates and times listed below:


LIVE early morning broadcast on SBS and SBS On Demand

Semi-Final 1 – Wednesday 8 May at 5:00am AEST (Australia's semi-final)   

Semi-Final 2 – Friday 10 May at 5:00am AEST           

Grand Final – Sunday 12 May at 5:00am AEST 


Prime time broadcast on SBS and SBS On Demand

Semi-Final 1 – Friday 10 May at 7:30pm AEST (Australia's semi-final)  

Semi-Final 2 – Saturday 11 May at 7:30pm AEST                      

Grand Final – Sunday 12 May at 7:30pm AEST
