Azerbaijan: TuralTuranX release their Eurovision 2023 song 'Tell Me More'

TuralTuranX have released their Eurovision 2023 entry for Azerbaijan, 'Tell Me More'.


'Tell Me More' was written by the duo who are twins, Tural and Turan Bağmanovlar. They are competing as TuralTuranX. The song arrangement is by Nihad Aliyev and will be performed in English.



It is the first time that Azerbaijan's Eurovision entry has been written by an Azeri team since their debut entry in 2008 'Day After Day' by Elnur and Samir.


TuralTuranX were internal selected to compete at Eurovision 2023 out of a previous announced shortlist of artists which included Azer Nasibov, Humay Aslanova & Amrah Musayev, Leyla Izzatova and Mamagama. A focus group group then made the final selection.


TuralTuranX will perform in the second half of the Eurovision 2023 semi-final 1 on May 9 in Liverpool.


Azerbaijan made their Eurovision debut in 2008 and every competed every year since. Out of their 14 appearances at the Contest they have only missed the Grand Final the one time with Aisel's 'X My Heart' finishing in 11th place in her semi-final in 2018. Azerbaijan won the Contest in 2011 with Ell and Nikki's duet 'Running Scared'. Last year Nadir Rustamli competed with 'Fade to Black' finishing in 16th place in the Grand Final in Turin.
