Australian Eurovision commentator Joel Creasey releases a cover of 'Chic, C'est La Vie'



Yes you heard that right!


Australian Eurovision commentator and outstanding comedian Joel Creasey has taken to the studio to make his musical debut, releasing a music video for 'Chic, C'est La Vie'.

Joel's cover is titled 'Chic, C'est La Vie (Ultimate Girls Trip Remix)' and is released to celebrate the launch of the reality show 'The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip' which is now available for streaming on hayu, a reality TV streaming service.

The music video pays homage to stars from the Real Housewives shows including Abbie Chatfield, Martha Kalifatidis and Brandon Lee Scott.

'Chic, C'est La Vie' was originally released in 2011 by Luann de Lesseps aka Countess Luann from the 'Real Housewives of New York'.


In an interview with 7news.com.au Joel revealed:

"It's a beautiful song... I'm hoping it plays at my funeral which, with the way I live, could happen any moment!"

Joel has been Australia's Eurovision commentator, along with TV personality and radio presenter Myf Warhurst, since 2017 in Kyiv.


The pair have had the honour hosting Australia’s first Eurovision national final, ‘Eurovision: Australia Decides 2019’. In an epic production where Kate Miller-Heidke was crowned the champion to represent Australia at Tel Aviv.


Joel is also touring next year, completing his originally planned 2021 comedy show. The rescheduled shows run from January and February 2022 visiting Perth and Brisbane. Book your tickets here.
