Australia wins the Eurovision 2026 press poll

The annual press poll for the Grand Final of Eurovision 2026 has concluded with Delta Goodrem for Australia coming out victorious with international media!
Accredited media watched the entire Grand Final show this morning and voted for their top five entries, awarding 12, 10, 8, 6 or 4 points.
The annual press poll is conducted by escxtra and received 72 responses this year.
The results

Australia's Delta Goodrem with the entry Eclipse took out the press poll by 96 points over second-place Finland. Other odds favourites Greece finished fifth and Israel in seventeenth.

It's interesting to compare it to previous years – from Loreen to Baby Lasagna – and now Australia has made the list. Whether the official audience and judges' jacksmith results reflect this is unknown, but it's clear this song has generated a lot of buzz.
