2022 saw Australia continue into our third ever National Final. We saw household powerhouse like Paulini, reality TV giants like Sheldon Riley, Sean Miley Moore and G-Nat!on, singer songwriters Jaguar Jonze, Andrew Lambrou, Charley and Jude York, past Eurovision star Isaiah Firebrace, prog metal band Voyager and a TikTok wildcard winner Erica Padilla.
Of course there could only be one winner, but with a chance to showcase their original work to new fans, there was no "failure" in not making it to Turin.
