Australia Decides 2022: All 11 competing songs are out



Following the release of songs from Seann Miley Moore, Erica Padilla and G-Nat!on this morning, we now have the full line up of 11 songs competing at 'Eurovision - Australia Decides' 2022.

Andrew Lambrou - 'Electrify'


Songwriters: Andrew Lambrou, Joseph de la Hoyde, Nick de la Hoyde, Tim de la Hoyde


Andrew Lambrou is a 23-year-old singer songwriter from Sydney. He is Australian with a Greek Cypriot family background. Across all his social media platforms, he has a combined 1.5 million followers and his song contains some lyrics in Spanish, the first time an Australia Decides song has a language other than English or an Indigenous language.



Charley - 'I Suck at Being Lonely'


Songwriters: Claire Howell, James Vincent, Thomas Walter Jordan, Jonathan Dreyfus


Charley is a 24-year-old singer songwriter who lives in Sydney but grew up on the Gold Coast. Some viewers may remember her from season five and six of The Voice Australia. She is signed to EMI Music Australia and this is her third single released.



Erica Padilla - 'To the Bottom'


Songwriters: Erica Padilla, Isabella Padilla, Ally Eley


The Melbourne based singer-songwriter won the TikTok wildcard spot for 'Eurovision - Australia Decides' .The performer has over 1.2 million followers on the platform and penned her original song with her sister and friend in just two days.



G-Nat!on - 'Bite Me'


Songwriters: LeeA Nanos, Michael Paynter, Michael Deloriz, Erin McKellar


G-Nat!on are a six-piece girl group from Adelaide who many fans will recognise from the most recent season of The Voice Australia where they made it all the way to the Grand Final. The song is co-written by LeeA (Leea Nanos) who competed at Australia Decides in 2019 with 'Set Me Free'.



Isaiah Firebrace and Evie Irie - 'When I'm With You'


Songwriters: Isaiah Firebrace, Evie Irie, Taka Perry


Isaiah Firebreace is a familiar name to Eurovision fans. He competed at the 2017 Contest with 'Don't Come Easy' finishing in 9th place. The 22-year-old is joined by 19-year-old rising pop star Evie Irie who recently returned to Australia after a successful few years in the United States where she signed to Republic Records.



Jaguar Jonze - 'Little Fires'


Songwriters: Deena Lynch, Louis Schoorl, PJ Harding


Jaguar Jonze is the stage name of 30-year-old Deena Lynch. Australia Decides fans will be familiar with her work after she finished fifth at the contest in 2020 with 'Rabbit Hole'. Since then, she has released a great deal of music and become a strong advocate for the 'Me Too' movement in Australia.



Jude York - 'I Won't Need to Dream'


Songwriters: Billy Stonecipher and Jude York


Jude York is a 22-year-old singer-songwriter from the regional city of Toowoomba in Queensland. His song was chosen from the over 700 entered in the 'Eurovision - Australia Decides' portal and was originally to be performed by another artist. Thankfully, Jude will get to showcase his own work on the Gold Coast stage.



Paulini - 'We Are One'


Songwriters: Rick Price and John Capek


Paulini is a household name in Australia after competing on the inaugural season of Australian Idol in 2003 where she finished fourth behind 2015 Eurovision representative, Guy Sebastian.

Since then Paulini has had a successful career songwriting, releasing music, numerous TV appearances as well as musical theatre.



Seann Miley Moore - 'My Body'


Songwriters: Ianna Rogers, Imogen Jones, Vanessa Rogers, Sean Carey


Seann Miley Moore will be known to Australia and British viewers following stints on both the hugely popular 'X Factor UK' in 2015 and 'The Voice Australia' in 2021 (where he was mentored by Eurovision 2018 performer Jessica Mauboy). Seann's background is musical theatre and he is a graduate of the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.



Sheldon Riley - 'Not the Same'

Known for his striking visual performances, Sheldon Riley has a rich experience of television across the globe. He first appeared on the 'X Factor Australia' in 2015 where he was placed in a boy band but it was on 'The Voice Australia' in both 2018 and 2019 that has many seeing him as a future Eurovision artist based on his performers. He also appeared on 'America's Got Talent' and has released a great deal of his own music in the last two years.



Voyager - 'Dreamer'


Songwriters: Alex Canion, Ashley Doodkorte, Daniel Estrin, Scott Kay, Simone Dow


Hailing from Western Australia, the five-piece act Voyager, bring a unique 80s infused progressive rock sound to the Australia Decides stage. The band formed in 1999 and have released numerous albums with success both in Australia and Europe. They made the shortlist of 'Eurovision - Australia Decides' in 2020 with 'Runaway' but just missed the cut but were featured on the televised show.
