After the conclusion of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, the analysis of points is coming in thick and fast.

Bulgaria took out the win, receiving 24 points (12 from the jury and public) from Australia.

Lithuania and Denmark were the only other nations to give the winner those points.

In second place was Israel, which had done extremely well in the public vote in recent years.

Israel’s recent Eurovision televote has come under scrutiny over government-linked campaigns encouraging viewers to cast the maximum number of votes, rather than allegations of proven vote-rigging.

After concerns from several broadcasters, the EBU reduced the number of votes allowed per payment method from 20 to 10 and tightened rules around promotional campaigns involving governments or third parties.

This year, Israel's public vote was 220 points compared to 297 in 2025 and 323 in 2024.

Nations competing and the quality of the song, of course, come into play when receiving points.

Which nations did not vote for Israel?

Only three nations did not give Israel any points - they were Australia, Croatia and Lithuania.

Croatia and Lithuania rewarded Noam Bettan's song Michelle with jury points.

This made Australia the only nation not to give Israel points, which is a dramatic change from recent years.

In 2024 and 2025, Israel received 12 points from the public vote.

This year Israel gave Australia the highest amount of points (with Armenia) - 22 points, including 12 points from the jury.
