In an Aussie pop throwback, Sister2Sister feature in Delta Goodrem's Eurovision cover Tattoo.

Australian pop nostalgia met Eurovision glamour this week, with some very familiar voices joining Delta Goodrem’s cover of the Eurovision-winning song Tattoo, originally performed by Loreen.

The backing vocalists? The Muscat sisters of Sister2Sister — one of Australia’s most recognisable pop duos.

A nostalgic Eurovision moment

Released as part of Eurovision’s A Little Bit More series, the cover sees Delta deliver her signature emotive take on one of the Contest’s biggest modern hits.

For Australian pop fans, the backing vocals seem very familiar.

Christine and Sharon Muscat are no strangers to performing with Delta, having previously supported her on tour — most recently at Mighty Hoopla Sydney.

The duo revealed on social media that their appearance on Tattoo came together at the last minute, learning the lyrics on the train ride to the studio.

They also feature in the performance video, seated behind Delta alongside violinist Kieran Ledwidge.

Their inclusion feels less like a one-off and more like a continuation of a long-running collaboration.

From ARIA hits to now

Sister2Sister were a defining act of early 2000s Australian pop.

Their debut album One peaked at No. 3 on the ARIA Albums Chart and went gold, while singles Sister and What’s a Girl to Do? both reached the top five.

They also won Best Independent Release at the 2000 ARIA Music Awards before moving into TV and running their own singing school.

In recent years, the duo have returned to music, reconnecting with fans — making this moment with Delta feel both current and nostalgic.

Will they head to Eurovision?

With Delta set to represent Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Vienna with Eclipse, attention now turns to her staging — and who will join her.

It’s unclear if Sister2Sister will be part of the live performance, with Eurovision line-ups often kept under wraps until rehearsals.

However, their appearance in the Tattoo cover has already sparked speculation — and shown they’d be a natural fit on the Eurovision stage.
