The Voice Australia winner and 'Eurovision - Australia Decides' 2019 artist, Alfie Arcuri, has released his eagerly awaited EP 'L.D.D. (Love Is A Dangerous Drug)’.

Recorded between Sydney and Berlin, this collection of songs showcases a playful and darker side of Alfie as he highlights the magic and heartache of lust, love and loss.

The new release comes during a huge week for the singer songwriter who is currently competing in San Marino's Eurovision national selection show, Una Voce Per San Marino (UVPSM) 2023. During the week Alfie performed his Eurovision national final entry 'Collide' in semi-final 1 and secured himself a spot in the big Final to take place Saturday evening (Sunday morning Australian time).

The EP consists of five tracks including the previously released singles 'OVERTIME' and 'DEVILS LIPS'. The release also includes a bonus track just in time for the World Pride festivities, a cover 'I Drove All Night' previously recorded by huge icons Cyndi Lauper and Celine Dion.

With its mix of powerful vocals and emotive lyrics, this EP showcases Alfie’s unique voice and raw talent like you’ve never seen or heard before. The new soulful tracks 'High' and 'L.D.D.' explore the illusions and lies we can tell ourselves to salvage a relationship and the bitter cost of keeping those myths alive. “I had lost myself amidst a bad relationship and only now do I feel that I can look back clearly on that time; these songs have healed me and I hope they can inspire others”.

After competing in San Marino's Eurovision national final Alfie will be returning to Sydney hitting the Pride Village Stages on March 4 and Claire’s Kitchen on March 17 paying homage to the legends that shaped him and honouring some of his greatest inspirations.
