Agnetha Fältskog from ABBA has relaunched her solo career today with the release of her new single 'Where Do We Go From Here?'.

The song premiered on BBC Radio 2's The Radio 2 Breakfast Show, hosted by Zoe Ball, at 8:30am today in the UK (5:30pm AEST).

After the premiere Agnetha remarked: "It feels good ... you never get tired of ... [hearing] yourself on the radio. That is really something ... I am very grateful that I still have my voice."

This is the first solo music that Agnetha has released in a decade. The new track will be part of her upcoming album 'A+' which will be available for purchase on October 13 this year.

'A+' has been described as a "completely reimagined version of 'A'" - with the latter being the last solo album Agnetha recorded. 'A' was released in May 2013, a few days before that year's Eurovision held in Malmö. It charted successfully globally, reaching number 3 on the ARIA album chart here in Australia.

The reworked album 'A+' will be released by the label BMG, who Agnetha has recently signed with. The 2 CD deluxe version will feature 11 tracks, including 10 reworked songs from the original 'A' album, as well as the new single 'Where Do We Go From Here?'.

Agnetha is also of course a part of the supergroup ABBA, who were the first Swedish act to Eurovision in 1974 with their song 'Waterloo'.

ABBA's most recent studio album 'Voyage' was released in November 2021. It too was a worldwide success, including topping the ARIA album chart and achieving Gold certification.

When asked by Zoe Ball today whether ABBA would commemorate next year being 50 years since they won at Eurovision, especially given the contest will be held in Sweden, Agnetha remarked: "You never know ... I would rather be quiet."

We look forward to hearing Agnetha's reimagined album 'A+', and are excited at the prospect of ABBA commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of their Eurovision win next year.
