There are 50 days to go until the 23rd edition of Junior Eurovision so we here at Aussievision have taken a look at what we know about this year's Contest so far!
We're off to Georgia!
Junior Eurovision 2025 will take place on December 13 in Tbilisi after Georgia's Andria Putkaradze won last year's contest with To My Mom. His 2024 win makes Georgia the most successful country at Junior Eurovision with a total of four wins since first competing in 2007.
This year will be the second time the contest has been held in Georgia after they last hosted in 2017. The show will be held at the Olympic Palace and the host broadcaster is Georgian Public Broadcaster (GPB). The hosts of the show are still to be announced.
United by Music
In August 2025, Eurovision Song Contest director Martin Green announced that the slogan United by Music - used permanently for Eurovision since November 2023 - would also be adopted by the Junior Eurovision Song Contest to bring both events under the same brand identity.
This year it appears as a wordmark whose letters are designed to represent the creativity of the young performers. The logo is brought to life by vivid bursts of colour, creating a dynamic, ever-evolving expression of individuality and serving as a vibrant symbol of diversity, inclusion, and shared celebration.

Will Australia be competing?
In March of this year it was confirmed that Australia will not be competing at Junior Eurovision in 2025.
After participating for five years between 2015 to 2019, Australia will miss the competition for the sixth year in a row. Both SBS and most recent broadcaster ABC ME have no plans to participate or broadcast the contest in Australia.
Australians will still be able to watch Junior Eurovision via the official Junior Eurovision YouTube channel.
Who will be participating in the 2025 Contest?
18 countries will participate in Junior Eurovision this year, the largest num. Azerbaijan, Croatia and Montenegro are all returning to the contest after last competing in 2021, 2014 and 2015 respectively.
