Spain held their national final this morning with the Eurovision Gala of Operación Triunfo.
Going into the final María with her song "Muérdeme" was the heavy favourite, but there have been murmurings that she had concerns about competing in Israel.
The 10 songs were voted by the Spanish public and it was Miki who won the contest with his energetic performance of 'La Venda'.
He received 34% of the public vote ahead of María on 22%.
