What happened to Rosa Linn on June 22nd?

"Since June 22nd, My heart's been on fire, I've been spending my nights in the rain, Trying to put it out."

Those are some of the well known lyrics to Rosa Linn's Eurovision entry 'Snap'.

The song has blown up since finishing 20th for Armenia at Eurovision 2022, it has been streamed over 200 million times on Spotify and has charted all across the world.

But there is one question people keep asking, "What happened on June 22nd?" and finally we have an answer!

Rosa Linn took to TikTok to explain in detail, saying:

"Well.... it's the day I realized I would never see the person I love again. He is still here, on this planet...but he continues to live on the other side of it, while I face the darkness of moving on without him."

She went on to explain:

"It's wild to me that the song I wrote about the pain of an unrequited love is now a song heard all over the world. It has travelled the distance between us... he might even have heard it. My life has completely changed since June 22nd but the way I feel has not... and although it's the worst pain I have ever felt...I would do it again, if it meant I could see him once more."

Rosa Linn ended the TikTok with her news of her upcoming single 'Would Do It Again' which is available to presave.
