Ukraine’s national selection is back with a bang as Vidbir 2026 unveils the ten songs that will battle it out for the coveted ticket to the Eurovision Song Contest.

With an eclectic mix of newcomers, returning favourites, and genre surprises, this year’s contest promises both musical diversity and plenty of drama. Ukrainian broadcaster Suspilne has created a playlist to listen to the entries here.

The recent editions of Vidbir have introduced a wildcard artist decided by local public vote. Earlier in the week, it was revealed that Khayat would join the nine other artists to complete the line-up.

There are two returning artists who have represented Ukraine at Eurovision: Jerry Heil and Monokate (as part of Go_A). Jerry Heil who represented Ukraine alongside Alyona Alyona in 2024 with the stirring Teresa & Maria. The pair placed third in a competitive and controversial final.

Monokate (Kateryna Pavlenko), represented Ukraine in 2020 and 2021 with the entries Solovey and Shum as part of the group Go_A as the front women and main vocalist. Shum placed 5th in the final and is a firm fan favourite entry.

Vidbir has earned a reputation for delivering standout entries and competitive lineups, often pushing boundaries in staging and sound. After Ukraine’s strong recent results, this year’s artists will be looking to uphold that legacy and showcase the nation’s continuing influence on Eurovision.

Ukraine's Vidbir 2026 lineup looks exciting with its mix of newcomers and returning favorites. The inclusion of a wildcard artist adds an unpredictable element, similar to how kart bros keeps players on their toes with its chaotic racing mechanics. It will be interesting to see which song stands out in such a diverse field. kart bros

Ukraine consistently raises the bar at Vidbir, and this lineup looks no different. Really glad to see Jerry Heil back — Teresa & Maria was one of the most emotionally powerful entries in recent Eurovision memory. Curious to hear how Catharticus develops that artistic voice further. Monokate's return is equally exciting given Go_A's unique sound. Should be a fiercely competitive final! Dutton Ranch

Much like a well-crafted gradient adds a sense of organic movement to a flat design, these songs utilize subtle, shifting dynamics to guide the listener through an emotional spectrum.
