Tóc Tiên officially announced to represent Vietnam at Eurovision Asia 2026
After weeks of speculation and an announcement from Vietnamese broadcaster Vietnam Television (VTV3), the organisers of Eurovision Song Contest Asia have officially announced Tóc Tiên as Vietnam’s representative for the inaugural contest.
Who is Tóc Tiên?
Nguyễn Khoa Tóc Tiên, known professionally as Tóc Tiên, is a prominent 37-year-old Vietnamese pop singer, fashion icon and television personality from Ho Chi Minh City.
She began her career as a child and teenage idol in Vietnam before building a successful career across music and television.
Tóc Tiên is known for blending traditional Vietnamese sounds with modern pop, electronic dance music and R&B.
Her breakout track Ngày Mai and success on the TV show The Remix helped cement her status as one of Vietnam’s biggest pop stars.
On television, she hosted Bài hát Việt in 2008 and has served as a judge on The Voice of Vietnam and Vietnam Idol Kids.

Tóc Tiên’s entry for Eurovision Asia 2026 will be selected through Vietnam’s national final, The Sound of Vietnam.
The show is set to take place on 3 October at 21:30 ICT, which will be 4 October at 12:30am AEST for viewers in Australia.
Sixth artist chosen for Eurovision Asia
Tóc Tiên becomes the sixth artist confirmed for Eurovision Song Contest Asia, following Nyendra for Bhutan, Aina Abdul for Malaysia, Carmelle for the Philippines, Thinla for Laos and JUNHEE for South Korea.
Vietnam is one of 11 countries taking part in the inaugural contest, alongside Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, the Philippines, South Korea and Thailand.
Eurovision Song Contest Asia will take place in Bangkok, Thailand, on Saturday 14 November.
