Two-time Eurovision winner Loreen has officially released her song Echoes, featured on the original soundtrack for the video game Split Fiction.
Months ago, some fans of the game correctly identified Loreen as the voice behind the haunting track that plays during the game’s ending sequence.
Split Fiction is a 2025 action-adventure game developed by Hazelight Studios and published by Electronic Arts. Designed exclusively for cooperative multiplayer, the story follows authors Mio Hudson and Zoe Foster, who become trapped inside the worlds of their own stories after being connected to a machine built to steal creative ideas.
The game launched on March 6, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S, with a Nintendo Switch 2 version released on June 5, 2025.
Split Fiction received universal acclaim from critics and, as of May 6, 2025, has sold over four million copies worldwide.
The song Echoes was produced by Palestinian-Swedish record producer Rami Yacoub, who also worked on Loreen’s 2023 hit single Is It Love. That track was released as a follow-up to her second Eurovision-winning song, Tattoo.
Loreen is one of only two artists to have won the Eurovision Song Contest twice - the other being “Mr. Eurovision” himself, Johnny Logan, who represented Ireland.
The Swedish pop star first won Eurovision for Sweden in 2012 with Euphoria, a song that has remained a fan favourite ever since.
Loreen is currently on tour throughout Europe where she is set to perform alongside Australia's very own princess of pop Kylie Minogue at the Release Athens Festival 2025 on July 18.

Echoes is out for streaming and download on July 4, 2025.
