We chat to this year’s Eesti Laul runner-up NOËP who is currently on tour in Australia.

Andres Kõpper, better known as NOËP, is an Estonian musician as well as a film and television director. He has already had a huge year after narrowly missing out on the chance to represent Estonia at Eurovision 2026 in Vienna.

NOËP competed in Estonia’s Eurovision national final, Eesti Laul, with his song Days Like This. He advanced to the Superfinal alongside two other artists, where the public selected the winner who would go on to represent the country at Eurovision.

He ultimately finished in second place behind Vanilla Ninja, who previously represented Switzerland at Eurovision 2005 and represented Estonia in Vienna.

Following Eesti Laul, NOËP appeared as a guest performer at Latvia’s Eurovision national final, Supernova.

There, he performed It Drives Me (Out of My Mind) alongside former Supernova winners and Eurovision 2023 representatives Sudden Lights. The collaboration was released earlier this year.

We spoke to NOËP about his tour of Down Under, what he has coming up and more!

Firstly, what motivated you to come all the way to Australia for a tour?

Kangaroos! Definitely kangaroos.

Is it your first time visiting Australia?

It is my second time. I had New Year’s Eve concert roughly 7 years ago in Sydney. Two of them actually.

What are you most excited about the most with your trip Down Under?

Sounds like a trip they take in Stranger Things 👀

(Hopefully no Vecna) I’m definitely excited about the kangaroos. And other than that I’ve heard Aussies got the best coffee.

We cannot wait to see you perform here. What can your Australian fans expect from your upcoming shows?

No kangaroos unfortunately.

They can expect a smooth electronic live performance which you can both listen and dance to. Will play some more alternative tracks and also the ‘essentials’.

This past year has been huge for you, finishing runner-up in Eesti Laul, releasing music with Sudden Lights and now performing around the world. What’s one personal insight or lesson you’ve taken away from the experience so far?

Put in the work and results will follow. Maybe not always in the way you expect (since I did place 2nd) - it’s not possible to control how everything goes but its possible to build yourself opportunities that every now and then do end up happening.

Do you think you would compete in Eesti Laul again in the future?

As the saying goes - never say never.

What was it like working with Sudden Lights on your song together, it drives me (out of my mind)?

It was a smooth but interesting process. The most interesting part was how to blend my electronic sounds with their indie band dna without coming across as this weird Frankenstein monster.

But I believe we found a cool balance and we’re both super stoked about this track

What else is coming up for NOËP in the months ahead that you can tell us?

I’m soon going to release a song which will be the official anthem of Rally Estonia (WRC). And I’m really looking forward to it. This one’s going to be good fun.

On August 19th I will be throwing a 360° solo show in the historic Pirita Convent Ruins in Tallinn with lots of visuals and lasers and a big immersive show.

Similar to my shows in Australia its going to be this new hybrid setup I’ve been working on.

Thank you for chatting with Aussievision. We hope you have a great time Down Under while on tour!

thanksss so much:)

USA casual chats about design choices cited static proxy in debates about clarity. The focus was on how navigation stays consistent without distractions, allowing users to quickly find what they need. It wasn’t highlighted, just part of a list. That subtle mention gave credibility and reflected how USA users value clarity, with observers agreeing that such design makes proxy services more appealing and trustworthy.
