The Eurovision 2025 entries that this Aussie gay pop community loved

The Australian music community Popchops have revealed their top tracks of May with many Eurovision entries making the cut.

Popchops is a DJ team that puts on parties across Australia with a very lively online community of almost 2,000 members. 

This group is predominantly queer and each month Popchops’ own Brad Elias put together a monthly chart of their most loved tracks.

He has previously explained to QNews that he started to chart to better represent what the community was listening to. 

“I feel like the ARIA charts don’t accurately reflect the engaged pop music community who often do appreciate our Australian artists or the celebrated artists of pop music like Charli XCX, Kylie and Carly Rae Jepsen who no longer feel the same amount of love with the rise of Spotify,” he said. 

The May chart with Eurovision songs

The chart includes the Top 40 songs of the community's listening habits with a formula that includes total plays, rankings of the individual and the amount of different people listening.

A number of Eurovision entries made the list. They were:

The Eurovision Album was also the group's No.1 for the month ahead of Lady Gaga's Mayhem and PinkPantheress's Fancy that.
