The 41 countries competing in Eurovision 2022 have been confirmed



Tonight the Eurovision Broadcasting Union (EBU) confirmed that 41 countries will be competing in next year's Contest.


After a year's break, Montenegro and Armenia will be returning to the Contest!


Australia is of course one of the 41 nations competing, with the 'Eurovision - Australian Decides 2022' national final to be held on February 26 in the Gold Coast.


The countries competing are:

  • Azerbaijan

  • Belgium

  • Bulgaria

  • Croatia

  • Cyprus

  • Czech Republic

  • Denmark

  • Estonia

  • Finland

  • France

  • Germany

  • Georgia

  • Greece

  • Iceland

  • Ireland

  • Israel

  • Italy

  • Latvia

  • Lithuania

  • Malta

  • Moldova

  • Montenegro

  • The Netherlands

  • North Macedonia

  • Norway

  • Poland

  • Portugal

  • Romania

  • Russia

  • San Marino

  • Serbia

  • Slovenia

  • Spain

  • Sweden

  • Switzerland

  • Ukraine

  • United Kingdom


The 41 countries will see two semi-finals, with the five big nations and host Italy going straight through to the Grand Final.


Eurovision will take place on 10, 12 and 14 May 2022 in Turin, Italy.
