Sweden: Melodifestivalen 2026 Heat 5 results and Grand Finalists revealed

This morning saw Heat 5 of Sweden’s Eurovision national selection show ‘Melodifestivalen’ take place at Gärdehov Arena in Sundsvall.
Six acts competed on the night, with only three progressing further in the competition.
Lilla Al-Fadji and Sanna Nielsen claimed the top two spots and progressed directly to the Grand Final.
AleXa finished in third place, earning another chance to compete in the final qualification round.
Bladë, JULIETT and Vilhelm Buchaus were all eliminated from the competition.

Final Qualification
At the end of tonight's final, a qualification round took place consisting of the five songs that had the highest total votes across the two voting rounds from each of their respective heats.
The following songs competed in the final qualification:
Jacqline - Woman
Robin Bengtsson - Honey Honey
Eva Jumatate - Selfish
Meira Omar - Dooset daram
AleXa - Tongue Tied
Meira Omar was revealed as the act with the highest number of votes from her heat and moved directly through to the final. The voting lines then opened up for the remaining four songs, with the results from the heats contributing to the new round of voting.
Robin Bengtsson was the artist that received the most votes from this process and he claimed the last remaining place in next week's Grand Final.
