San Marino: Semi-finalists for San Marino Song Contest 2026 announced

The 40 semi-finalists competing in San Marino Song Contest 2026, the micro-state's Eurovision national selection, have been announced. There are several past Eurovision and national final acts amongst them.

Semi-final 1

The 20 artists competing in the first semi-final on 4 March where announced at 16 February Europe time. The artists, song titles and country of origin, in alphabetical order by their first name, are:

Notable acts include Sheila who competed at Albania's Festivali i Këngës 64, and will perform the same song. Star Guy is EMMY's brother. The latter represented Ireland at Eurovision 2025 with Laika Party, with Star Guy appearing on stage with her.

Semi-final 2

The 20 artists competing in the first semi-final on 5 March where announced at on 17 February Europe time. They are:

Maraaya represented Slovenia at Eurovision 2015 with Here For You finishing in 14th place. Magdalena Tul represented Poland at Eurovision 2011 with Jestem but failed to qualify for the Grand Final. Elysa has participated in Estonia's Eesti Laul several times, most recently in 2025 with The Last to Know. Xannova Xan entered Greece's Ethnikós Telikós with Play It last year.

Five acts from each semi-final will qualify for the the Grand Final on 6 March. They will be joined by 10 pre-qualified artists that were invited by San Marino RTV, who will be announced on the third night of Italy's Sanremo 2026 on 26 February.

All the shows will be broadcast from Teatro Nuovo in Dogana, San Marino, with the results decided 100% by jury.

The contest will be hosted by Italian TV presenter Simona Ventura.

The winner of the San Marino Song Contest will compete at Eurovision in the second half of the first semi-final on 12 May.
