"After withdrawing in 2019 and the cancelled 2020 edition, Ukraine returned to the contest with a bang. Every entry they've sent has been so uniquely Ukrainian whilst each being completely unique from each other. Result wise they've done exceptionally as well. Ukraine get Eurovision and because of that they've become a modern day powerhouse of the competition." ~Cooper
"Sympathy vote isn't enough to get you to win ESC... you need lightning in a bottle. And their track record this decade reflect not just the devastating and intractable war they're locked in, but also really quality cultural offerings. Their success is so deserved." ~Troy
"Just wow." ~Hayley
"Boy, Ukraine is a tough one to judge! You can't deny their impressive results over the past 5 years, but you've gotta wonder how much the sympathy vote has an influence here. My 8 points all go to Shum, the other songs I feel would have struggled to reach such peaks if they were competing for any other country." ~Joel
