With five Eurovision Song Contests completed this decade, how is each nation faring?

In an ongoing series, the Aussievision team will rate the performance of each Eurovision nation in alphabetical order.

We’ll look back at their results from 2021 to 2025, their qualification record, give our team’s rating, and see how they stack up against other countries.

Team rating of Poland: 63%

We asked the Aussievision team to rate Poland's Eurovision 2020s entries on a scale of 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest).

This gave us an average overall score from the 10 contributors who voted. We then converted that into a percentage.

Poland's score was: 63%

The scores ranged from a 5/10 to 7/10, with five contributors awarding Poland a score of 6/10.

"Ahhh my beloved Poland... Quite the mixed bag in this lot.. I feel Poland for the size of the country don't always get the rewards they should but I think sometimes the staging is just cooked. Ochman was so so robbed, and Justyna in the end just fell short. Their national final this year was next level with so many good songs they could have sent - I feel a Poland win is imminent but they have alot of work to do! Don't give up Poland - I believe in you!" ~ Hayley

"I would describe Poland's performance this decade so far as average. 60% qualification rate is pretty good for the Poles. The country usually comes top 10 once every decade. Since this has not eventuated yet, I'm curious to see if it will. What is not in Poland's favour with this rating is its size and diaspora. With a population of just over 36 million and a large diaspora across Europe, Poland is the largest country by number of people that has never won Eurovision. The weakness for them is the juries. It has been statistically proved that Poland is the country that the juries mark down the most compared to the tele-vote under this split system. It is hard to know what the juries are looking for, but perhaps Poland should try to send something more current and radio friendly, whilst retaining excellent vocals that they often bring. Hopefully this will bring the juries on side, because for me personally Poland is the country I would most like to see win Eurovision for the first time." ~ Sam
