Team comments
"Ooof I hate to give a low score to Montenegro. Look, that national final last year .... I am not going to lie - I loved it. So many of those artists had a vision on what they wanted to do and there was some quality. But the winner? that was a shock. It is clear to me its either ballads or rock in Montenegro maybe it is time they need to send maybe a decent rock song! Or just send Knez again." ~ Hayley
"Yep you cant think of a worst start to a decade than Montenegro. I know they are a small country but artists from there have contributed to top ten placings by Yugoslavia and Serbia & Montenegro in the past, so they are capable of doing well. I think break glass option in this case would be to get Željko Joksimović to write them another beautiful ballad. I want Montenegro to stay in the contest so fingers crossed they can turn it around." ~ Sam
"I’m really loathe to give Montenegro a 1, but things could not have gone worse for them, finishing 16th and 17th in their semis. It’s such a shame, because I feel like I was the only person in the world who actually enjoyed Nina Žižić’s Dobrodošli this year." ~ Joel
"Highly talented folk sent with the wrong songs. Consistently. Rather than attempts to subvert what Eurovision is with their entries like some other nations, I feel they just misunderstand what ESC has become." ~ Troy
