Team comments
"I must have a blindspot for Lithuania because I didn’t realise they have been such a consistently strong performer in recent times. Despite sending a diverse array of acts, they seem to be connecting strongly with audiences no matter what they send. Next step is to elevate even further to secure a top 5 finish and compete for victory." ~Joel
"I am going big on Lithuania - consistent, quality, Monikas. They stay true to themselves and stick to whatever they want to send, and their results speak for themselves, even if we do not think a qualification is possible, they pull it out of the bag. I have long said that Lithuania will be the next country to get their first win. Their national final can be a little painful, a long drawn-out process with some questionable songs, but they only need one good song! A win is imminent!" ~Hayley
"The Roop, The Roop, The Roop is on fire! I usually dig what Lithuania offers, even if the rest of Europe doesn’t. Consistently middle of the pack in terms of results, but many of their entries I return to (sometimes years later) to listen. And I can’t say that of every country.." ~Troy
"This is where Lithuania remains relevant in the Grand Final conversations, and they serve more quality than Italy's, no matter how they would place in the Grand Final. Any non-qualifications in the next five years would jeopardize it, so I hope they would send more quality that would enlighten and delight more Eurofans. Heck, the last three Lithuanian entries are an earworm." ~John Christian
"The only Baltic country yet to win has had an uber consistent start to the decade. Its current streak of five consecutive qualifications is by far the longest in its history. Every placing this decade so far has been in the Top 16 which is very impressive for a country with less than 3 million people, even if the country has a large diaspora vote." ~Sam
