Team comments
"Oh Denmark? Oh dear! So far it's been a disastrous start to the decade for the Danes. Especially when you compare to how strong they started the last decade. Out of the first five Danish entries in the 2010s all qualified, 4 reached the top 10 and there was a winner. Since then their Eurovision entries have been as bland as their cuisine. Denmark really needs to be more darig to get out of the doldrums. The safe pop song that did well in the 2010s doesn't cut it anymore in an era when acts like Nemo, JJ, Kaarija and Baby Lasagna dominate. Heck even getting some Melfest songwriters from across the ditch to spare a song for Denmark's selection might do the trick. But something radical needs to change, otherwise it will be Only Teardrops for Denmark at Eurovision for a while" ~Sam
"Oh boy do I feel horrible for giving Denmark such a low score but they consistently do no qualify, the outlier this year being Sissal. They really need to pick up their game and look outside the beige square they choose from. Send metal or something - do it Denmark!! (also SAAAND)" ~Hayley
"I agree with Hayley on this that Sissal is the outlier because of the fact that she broke a non-qualifying streak that lasted for six years. But I would enter Fyr og Flamme as another outlier because they came so close towards qualification, only for them to miss out on a cruel twist of fate. If they want for Denmark to be competitive, send something similar to Nicklas Sonne, Eyjaa, Basim, Conf3ssions, or any other 2020s NF artist from the country" ~John Christian
"The most uncool run of songs in history." ~Craig
