With five Eurovision Song Contests completed this decade, how is each nation faring?

In an ongoing series, the Aussievision team will rate the performance of each Eurovision nation in alphabetical order.

We’ll look back at their results from 2021 to 2025, their qualification record, give our team’s rating, and see how they stack up against other countries.

We asked the Aussievision team to rate Czechia's Eurovision 2020s entries on a scale of 1 (lowest) to 10 (highest).

This gave us an average overall score from the nine contributors who voted. We then converted that into a percentage.

Czechia's score was: 53.3%

The scores ranged from 4/10 to 7/10, with a very even distribution.

"You know, Czechia may only have two qualifications here, but one is an absolute iconic banger and the other a top 10 result. The two last years of the non-qualifications have just been a bit unlucky. (I still think Aiko deserved better!) One thing they do well is variety!" ~ Hayley

"Czechia are on a very positive directory- the results might not exactly reflect this but if you take these 5 entries and compare them to the 5 before it's night and day. You can see the love put into their unique national final every year and it's starting to pay off." ~ Liv

"Czechia (Czech Republic) is another "yo-yo" country in Eurovision in this decade, qualifed then not, then back again, the cycle repeats but I gave that rating because of 2023's entry alone. I just hope they should continue what they are doing, but the one thing that they should improve is connection to the fanbase itself, which led to the country's absence in the early 2010s." ~ John Christian

"To be honest, We are Domi deserved better. One top 10 result and three non-qualifiers that just weren't it. Aiko may have been unlucky, but the juries would have slaughtered them if they reached the final.

I respect that Czechia goes for unique but sometimes it just doesn't work." ~ Fleur

"I may be a little harsh rating Czechia as below average given their disastrous Eurovision history (coming last in the semi-final in your first three participations is tragic but also iconic). But given Austria, another central European country with a smaller population, can afford a win this year I stand by my rating. Also so far Czechia this decade is much poorer in terms of results compared to the 2010s. Czechia in the 2020s has often sent excellent studio tracks that are ruined by poor staging and vocals. They should work on these factors to improve their Eurovision fortunes." ~ Sam
