Raylee wins Melodi Grand Prix semi-final 2

This morning saw the second semi-final of Norway's Melodi Grand Prix with slick dance moves, an enchanted forest and some 80s realness.

In the Gold Duel, Raylee and her 80s inspired track 'Hero' (topped off with her own ‘Flashdance’ moment) defeated Daniel Owen and his song 'Psycho'.

The first head-to-head battle of the evening was between the men as two-time Eurovision competitor Ketil Stokkan took on Daniel Owen, with Daniel Owen taking the win.

This left Raylee and Maria Solheim with her song 'Nordlyset' to battle it out with Raylee taking the victory and progressing.

Fans were also treated to a performance of one of the artists that have already pre-qualified for the final. This week it was the band Stavangerkameratene with their entry ‘Barndomsgater’.

Raylee now moves on to the final on 20th February, and she joins Stavangerkameratene, Tix, KEiiNO and last week’s semi final winner Blåsemafian feat. Hazel in the final.

Semi-final three is next Sunday morning Australian time, with the artists who will compete in the semi final to be announced tomorrow.
