Portugal: Festival da Canção 2026 semi-final 1 results

This morning, Portuguese broadcaster RTP Internacional (RTP) held the first semi-final of their national final Festival da Canção 2026.
Four of the finalists were determined by a 50% televoting and 50% jury system. A fifth televote wildcard also progressed to the final after a second round of voting following the announcement of the first four qualifiers.
The four acts that qualified directly for the Festival da Canção 2026 final from semi-final 1 are:
Nunca Mates o Mandarim – Fumo
Marquise – Chuva
Dinis Mota – Jurei
Evaya – Sprint
The televote wild card act which will progress to the final is André Amaro with Dá-me a tua mão.
Those eliminated from the competition are:
Bateu Matou – Nos teus olhos
Agridoce – Onde quero estar
Mário Marta – Pertencer
Eight more acts will compete in the second semi-final on Saturday 28 February (Sunday 01 March 2025 Australian time) to determine who will advance to the final.

Festival da Canção 2026 will be streamed live at the following times:
5.00am - Western Australia
6.30am - Northern Territory
7.00am - Queensland
7.30am - South Australia
8.00am - NSW, ACT, Victoria and Tasmania
Portugal at Eurovision:
Portugal has competed 54 times since their debut in 1964 and has won the Eurovision Song Contest once with Salvador Sobral and Amar pelos dois in 2017.
Last year Portugal was represented by Napa with Deslocado which finished in 21st place.
