Australia made its debut at the Eurovision Song Contest back in 2015 and has competed every year since.
We have ranked the points awarded by the Australian televote and jury to every Eurovision runner-up in the Grand Final, from the lowest to the highest total score, to determine Australia's favourite Eurovision runner-up between 2015 and 2026.

Any ties will be decided by which entry received more points in the public vote.
10. Noam Bettan - Michelle (Israel, 2026) - 0 points

9. Mahmood - Soldi (Italy, 2019) - 5 points
(5 points - Televote / 0 points - Jury)
Soldi received five points from the Aussie public but zero points from the jury despite finishing in 4th place overall by all the juries.
Soldi got top 10 spots from just two Aussie jurors and finished in 16th place overall.
=7. Sam Ryder - Space Man (United Kingdom, 2022) - 7 points

The Australian public were delighted by Sam Ryder's performance rewarding Space Man with 7 points, a 4th place finish in the Aussie televote. To the surprise of some the Australian jury didn't quite warm up to the performance. It ranked 15th with the Aussie jury with the UK missing out on jury points from Australia.
=7. Eleni Foureira - Fuego (Cyprus, 2018) - 7 points

With Cyprus not in the same semi-final as Australia, fans of Fuego had to wait until the Grand Final to show it some voting love from Australia.
In the Grand Final the Aussies at home had Fuego as their 4th favourite performance of the night.
The Aussie jury on the other hand showed Eleni no love at all, missing out on jury points from Australia. The jury placed Fuego in 11th place a narrow miss. Robbery!
6. Barbara - Voilà (France, 2021) - 11 points

France got love from both the Australian televote and jury. Barbara finished fourth with the Aussie jury, scoring a 1st to 3rd placing from the jurors with the fourth and fifth jurors placing Voilà in 5th and 15th place.
5. Yuval Raphael - New Day Will Rise (Israel, 2025) - 12 points

4. Kristian Kostov - Beautiful Mess (Bulgaria, 2017) - 13 points
(5 points - Televote / 8 points - Jury)
Australia got the opportunity to vote for Bulgaria in the Grand Final as they weren't in the same semi-final.
In the Grand Final Kristian scored points from both the Aussie televote and jury.
With 5 points from the public and 8 points from the jury. One jury member had the Bulgarian entry in 1st place with the rest of the jurors placing Kristian in their top 10.
3. Polina Gagarina - A Million Voices (Russia, 2015) - 16 points
(4 points - Televote - 7th Place / 12 points - Jury - 1st Place)
2. Käärijä - Cha Cha Cha (Finland, 2023) - 17 points
(12 points - Online vote / 5 points - Jury)
Cha Cha Cha remains the only Eurovision runner-up to get a 12 points from the Australian public!
It was the hot favourite to take out the Contest in Liverpool and the televote winner, but Sweden beat Finland past the post to take out Eurovision 2023.
The Australian jury weren't so hot with the entry compared to the Aussie public, awarding it 5 points.
1. Baby Lasagna - Rim Tim Tagi Dim (Croatia, 2024) - 18 points

Croatia were one of the hot favourites to win in 2024.
The Australian public awarded their 12 points to Croatia in semi-final 1, so it's no surprise it would remain a favourite with Aussies in the Grand Final where Baby Lasagna scored 10 points. He was a top 3 favourite with the Australian jury where Rim Tim Tagi Dim scored 8 points. The Croatian entry is Australia's most awarded Eurovision runner-up!
