This weekend, the final of Sweden’s iconic Melodifestivalen takes place, where a winner will be crowned and earn the right to represent Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna.
To mark the occasion, we’ve ranked all Melodifestivalen winning songs by their Spotify streams in Australia as of 7 March 2026.
There have been 64 winning songs in total, and we were able to source Australian Spotify streaming data for all but one.
We have only included streaming data for songs in the language in which they won Melodifestivalen. As a result, nine songs on this list won in Swedish, and the English-language versions of those songs have not been included. Streaming numbers for “Eurovision versions” of songs have also been omitted.
