This morning, after four weeks of semi-finals, the Maltese national broadcaster has revealed the 12 acts progressing to the final stage of their national final, Malta Eurovision Song Contest (MESC) 2024.
Who Qualified?
The 36 acts originally announced to compete in MESC were narrowed down to 12 when the qualifiers were announced in a special results show this morning.
The entries qualifying to the final are listed below:

Gail Attard - 'Wild Card'
Greta Tude - 'Topic (Bla Bla)'
Haley Azzopardi - 'Tell Me That It's Over'
Janvil - 'Man'
Lisa Gauci - 'Breathe'
Matt BLXCK - 'Banana'
Miriana Conte - 'Venom'
Nathan - 'Ghost'
Ryan Hili - 'Karma'
Sarah Bonnici - 'Loop'
Sadly these entries were not so lucky and did not qualify:

What happens next?
Each of the 12 qualified acts has won 5,000 euros, which will be used in the coming weeks to film a music video for their song which will be used to promote their song and in the final stage of the MESC competition.
The grand final of MESC, during which Malta's representative for Eurovision 2024 will be selected, is expected to take place at some point in December or January.
