Måneskin’s Eurovision 2021 winning song ‘Zitti e buoni’ surpasses 200 million Spotify streams




It has been just over three months since the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 where the band Måneskin won the contest for Italy with ‘Zitti e buoni’ in Rotterdam.

‘Zitti e buoni’ has hit a milestone surpassing 200 million Spotify streams, currently accumulating 200,242,756 listens on the music streaming platform. It is the second Eurovision winning song to do so.

Back in February this year the Eurovision 2019 winning song ‘Arcade’ by Duncan Laurence surpassed 200 million streams, being the first Eurovision song to reach the milestone.


‘Arcade’ currently has an impressive 495 million streams on Spotify and as of this week has reached a new peak on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart at No. 38.

Duncan Laurence’s song took 677 days since the Eurovision 2019 Grand Final to reach the 200 million stream milestone. The momentum behind the songs return to popularity began at the end of 2020 when the song became popular on TikTok.


Måneskin’s ‘Zitti e buoni’ has smashed this record reaching the 200 million milestone in just 125 days since the Eurovision 2021 Grand Final!

‘Zitti e buoni’ has charted across the globe!


In Europe ‘Zitti e buoni’ reached No.1 in Finland, Greece, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland and Sweden and the top 10 in Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Slovenia, Switzerland.

In Australia the song reached No. 50 on the Australian iTunes chart and No.1 on the Spotify Viral 50 daily and weekly charts.

In the United States Måneskin have made a huge impact on the Billboard charts. The band reached No.1 on the Emerging Artist chart. ‘Zitti e buoni’ has peaked at No.7 on the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart, No. 22 on the Billboard Global 200, and No. 10 on the Billboard Global 200 excl. US.


The band’s biggest hit song in the US has been their cover of ‘Beggin’ which peaked at No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100. In the United Kingdom ‘Zitti e buoni' is currently the fourth equal highest charting Eurovision winning song of the last 10 years on the singles chart: 1. Loreen - 'Euphoria' - peak No. 3 2.
