The first semi-final of the Lithuanian Eurovision national selection show ‘Pabandom iš naujo!’ happened this morning (Australian time).
Giedrius Masalskis returned again to host this year, joined by Augustė Nombeko and Richardas Jonaitis.

In the elimination heats only the top 10 out of the 15 acts progressed to the semi-finals. The successful acts were selected by 50/50 combination of jury and public televoting.
In the semi-finals, five of the ten acts progress to the Grand Final.
Rūta MUR topped the votes with 'So Low'.
Semi-final 1 results were:

Petunija – 'Love of my life'
Il Senso – 'Sparnai'
Gabrielius Vagelis – 'Šauksmas'
Justė Kraujelytė – 'Need More Fun'
The following did not qualify:
6. Alen Chicco – 'Do You'
7. Donata – 'Dreamer'
8. Joseph June – 'Vacuum'
9. Baiba – 'When the Lights Go Out'
10. NOY – 'Destiny’s Child'
Petunia came in second with 'Love of my Life'.
Coming in third was Il Senso's 'Sparnai'.
Semi-final 2 of 'Pabandom iš naujo!’ 2023 will be on February 11 in Europe and February 12 in Australia.
