The Lithuanian Eurovision national selection show ‘Pabandom iš naujo!’ got underway this weekend with the first of the elimination heats for 2023.
Giedrius Masalskis returned again to host this year, joined by Augustė Nombeko and Richardas Jonaitis.
In the elimination heats only the top 10 out of the 15 acts progress to the semi-finals. The successful acts were selected by 50/50 combination of jury and public televoting.
Top of the qualifying list was the 80s-inspired Rūta MUR with 'So Low”.

15. Justin 3 featuring DJ AugustYno – 'Not Giving Up'
Finishing second in the qualifying was Justė Kraujelytė with 'Need More Fun'.
Giving us a captivating performance complete with costume reveal was Alen Chicco with 'Do You' who finished in third place.
Just missing out on qualifying for the semi-final was Aistė Pilvelytė who has now taken part in Pabandom iš naujo! 13 times.
Heat 2 of 'Pabandom iš naujo!’ 2023 will be on January 28 in Europe and January 29 in Australia.
