Bringing Albanian fire to Tbilisi for Junior Eurovision 2025 is Kroni Pula with her song Fruta perime.

Here are some details on the entry, the artist, and Albania's history at Junior Eurovision since their debut 15 years ago.

About the artist: Kroni Pula

Nine-year-old Kroni Pula is a singer and dancer from Tirana who has had a passion for music since the age of four.

Her passion for the arts grew after her parents noticed her talent, and she has been attending artistic school ever since.

She currently attends the Dëshmorët e Lirisë school in Tirana where she often takes part in performances at musical and dance concerts.

A lifelong dream was realised when Pula won Albania's national selection for Junior Eurovision, Festivali Mbarëkombëtar i Këngës Për Fëmijë, at the start of June.

Excited for the months ahead, Pula is looking forward to representing her country on an international stage. She said her dream as an artist is to become a famous singer who is known by many.

"My dream is that when I grow up, I will become a very famous singer and always, every time I leave the house, I will be called: Kroni, Kroni, Kroni!," she said.

About the song: Fruta perime

As can be expected from Albania in both Junior and 'adult' Eurovision, Fruta perime brings a sound unique to this year's cohort of music which will be sure to stand out. In streaming and on the stage, their entry (the title of which translates to "Fruit and vegetables" in English) will be one not to be forgotten.

The song is a fun, young, and energetic track in which Pula sings about eating both healthy and junk foods simultaneously - and who doesn't love a sweet treat? The instrumental is colourful and lends itself to an engaging live show.

In an interview with Albanian state broadcaster Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH) Pula said the message of her song is that "we should always eat more fruits and vegetables."

Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest

Albania first debuted in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in 2012 with the song Kam një këngë vetëm për ju by Igzidora Gjeta, which finished in last place with thirty-five points. Happily, though, this unfortunate beginning remains Albania's worst result in the contest to this day. After a two-year absence, Albania returned to Junior Eurovision in 2015 and reached the top five with their entrant Mishela Rapo singing Dambaje.

Following a brief withdrawal from the 2020 contest, Albania returned in 2021 and has since consistently participated. They have reached the top ten for the past two contests, coming 8th and 7th, respectively.

In just over a month, Kroni Pula will take to the stage for her country in front of thousands at Tbilisi's Olympic Palace and millions watching elsewhere. For Albania, another talented junior artist is showcasing their talent on stage; and for Pula, a dream come true.
