Today, the full line-up of nations competing in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2023 was announced.
In total, 16 nations will be competing with Estonia making their debut. The nations competing are:
Albania
Armenia
Estonia
France
Georgia
Germany
Ireland
Italy
Malta
Netherlands
North Macedonia
Poland
Portugal
Spain
United Kingdom
Ukraine
Additionally, the slogan and artwork was also revealed by France Télévisions. The slogan and theme is 'Heroes' with JuniorEurovision.TV stating that Heroes was:
"..more than a slogan, it was decided to use a word that inspires and gives children incredible strength and will feature throughout the event. The accompanying artwork captures the energy of the word ‘Heroes’, with powerful, joyful colours and a ‘street art’ look that brings modernity and speaks to all generations. The splashes, which will also feature each participating country’s flag, are made of a combination of paint, chalk, powder, and fireworks."
Australia will not be competing in Junior Eurovision in 2023.
This year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest will take place in Nice on Sunday 26 November at 16:00 CET.
